In February of this year, we installed a Phytoair\u00ae aerated reed bed at the Amref Mutuini Center in Dagoretti, a district of Nairobi, to treat the center&#039;s domestic wastewater. The treatment process involves a volume of 6-7.5 m\u00b3\/day, which is treated in a 45 m\u00b2 reed bed. Earthwise visited and received explanations from Julius Mwaura, our Kenyan representative, and Dion van Oirschot, who was also present.
