This abbey in rural area previously discharged into the Pepinusbeek. Rietland built a two-stage treatment for the domestic waste water of the Trappists (30IE): horizontal filter (180m\u00b2), flow field (240m\u00b2) and three ponds totaling 90m\u00b2.
