The students could use the 'layar' program to request information from the reed field about the parts using a tablet PC.

In this photo, a student scans a QR tag (a kind of barcode) that is affixed to the info board with the camera of her iPad. As a result, a wiki is automatically called up on which all information about the operation and construction of the reed field can be found.

Students can also do experiments and photograph the results with their smartphone or tablet PC and then send those photos to their teacher who can immediately check them.

RietLand contributed to the content of the educational program and will continue to be involved in further design in the near future.

At the opening, a video was also presented about the construction of the reed field.
