On March 27, 2025, the MULTISOURCE-consortium together with Water Europe the Water Market Europe-edition in Girona, Spain, with the theme 'Blue-green solutions for water-smart cities.' Rietland will share the results of the event during the Phytoparking.
The event is aligned with the European Green Deal, aiming at climate neutrality and a circular economy by 2050, with a focus on Nature-based Solutions (NbS) in urban water management. The MULTISOURCE project develops innovative models for urban wastewater treatment.
The event offers:
– Networking with stakeholders such as industry, policy makers and investors.
– Matchmaking between innovators and decision makers.
– Presentations by MULTISOURCE solutions to NbS tand implement.
This ties in directly with the Water Framework Directive and the Zero Pollution Action Plan. MULTISOURCE emphasises the importance of NbS for future water strategies.
